- ANIMAL COLLECTIVE – MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILION buy (my favorite album of ‘08 and ‘09! Gonna be hard to beat this one for me…once it got in my head I couldn’t get it out and don’t want to)
- PHOSPHORESCENT – TO WILLIE buy (tribute to Willie Nelson…great songs to drink and be sad to)
- BEASTIE BOYS – PAUL’S BOUTIQUE buy (man oh man…this album is such a gosh darn good time! There are so many references in this record, both lyrically and musically, to keep it interesting and exciting for years)
